JOACHIM (Sigismund, Albrecht,Klaus,Arwed, Detlef) Peiper was born on 30th January 1915 to parents Charlotte Marie Schwartz and Waldemar Peiper. His father served in the 1st world war and reached the rank of Captain. Jochen had 2 brothers, Horst and Hasso. The Nanny pictured is NOT Peiper’s mother Charlotte.

His senior school was the Goethe Oberrealschule in Berlin.

Goethe-Oberrealschule where Peiper finished his education, dates he attended are sketchy but I think, from 1925 – ??.12.1933?
